Solutions

We work on carefully selected computer hardware and hand-picked smartphones. We reduce the risk of backdoors at both the hardware and software level and cut attack vectors to a minimum. The operating systems we use are telemetry-free by default.

When it comes to operating systems, we use two main solutions:

1. Qubes OS in our own custom configuration.
2. Our own dedicated, hardened Debian 13 Trixie distribution called Nistar36.

We choose only certain phone models, on which we install exclusively GrapheneOS or LineageOS by default. We configure them for each client according to their requirements and needs.

Where we start

1. Conversation - initial consultation. You write to us by e-mail or via Signal, using the details listed on the Contact page. We arrange a call via a messenger of your choice or set up an online conference for you, during which we assess the current state of your existing setup and your expectations. If you prefer, for example, to communicate by e-mail only, we can of course arrange everything that way. The entire preliminary stage needed to prepare a proposal can also take place at your location, once we have agreed on a meeting place. Within anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, we prepare a comprehensive proposal for you with a detailed breakdown of the entire implementation plan. It may cover the software layer, the software and hardware layer, or the hardware alone. Everything depends on decisions we make together and on your current situation. We can also work on the client’s own hardware (if it meets the requirements).
2. Hardware, configuration, training, implementing procedures, and even changing habits, routines and the way you operate - all of this can be arranged and depends on your situation, knowledge and skills. We will help with everything. This is what we specialize in.
3. We can come to you, anywhere in the world. We will discuss the details during the first contact. The whole process can also be carried out remotely (with some limitations).

We offer journalists, their sources, activists and human rights organisations preferential terms of cooperation and, in justified cases, free assistance. Every request is considered individually. We do not require any documents - a referral from a trusted newsroom, organisation or someone we have already worked with is enough.
